February 6th

         Thursday isn’t much
better.

Abagail
opened her eyes. The first thing she noticed was the elaborate brightness
of where she was. More astounding to here was the fact that her pupil didn’t
cinch up to avoid the light. The next thing she realized was that she was
standing completely upright.

         She surveyed
her surroundings and all she could see was white. She focused her eyes ahead
into the white and could see for miles. She could survey her entire surroundings
with ease, if there was anything but white.

          She
began walking, glancing at her feet. They appeared to be floating, but she
felt the weight of her body on them. She began walking one foot in front of
the other. She was crossing the bright white terrain with great ease, covering
several leaps with only a shuffle of her leg.

She walked on and on for what felt like
weeks. Trying to remember who she was, and where she was. Abagail stopped
walking and looked up. She tried jumping in the air. Without a definite horizon
she wondered if she was accomplishing anything.

        Then all at
once, she felt her feet land on solid ground. She looked down, her feet were
in the same place before, but she could feel the ground. She got down on all
fours and began touching the ground with her hands. She began digging away
at nothing, slowly giving the bright white color. She dug further and further
until she had a whole she could fit her head through.

She stuck her head down the
whole and saw herself looking through. She pried her hands into the hole with
her head. She then felt a hand grab her. She felt the hole tighten around
her waist. The hand, covered with a surgical glove pulled harder and harder.
She began to hear foreign voices she didn’t understand. Her world became dark
but she could hear the voices still. As she opened her eyes and breathed in,
the cold air filling her lungs for the first time. With that same breath she
exhaled with a pained scream. She clutched her eyes as tightly as she could.
The voices became more and more excited. She felt the voices’ arms carry her
around and around. She felt the warmth of being held and began to allow it.
She slowly stopped screaming and fell asleep.

The whiteness came back, except there were glowing
white beings , that made the whiteness seem cream colored. She got up off
the ground, slowly trying to remember where she was. She cautiously stared
at the glowing beings. They spoke in unison in a thunderous tone.

“How’d you get in here? This is the
truth. What can I answer for you?”

       “Where am
I?”

“You’re in the truth of the
universe. We’re truth.”

        “Oh… What’s going on?
I just had a crazy dream.”

         “That’s just what your
‘vessel’ is feeling, experiencing.”

          “So, what’s
happening? Am I dead?”

          “Far
from it, you’ve just been born. That wasn’t actually you being born. it was
your vessel’s birth. You’re not needed right now in your vessels life. You’re
in a sleepstate right now, and that’s how we’re guessing you got here. In
about 20 years we need you to get a message to your vessel.”

        “Ok…”

        “In 20 years, he’s going
to get caught in a web of speculation and self doubt. It’s your job to clear
things up.”

        “Ok….”

        “On February
6th, 2003, I need you to clear things up for him. We’re giving you the truth,
and you’ll encounter some resistance from his conscious mind. He likes to
imagine stuff, plus he’s getting a lot of vague information. This should set
his record straight. We need him to focus on some other stuff, so the universe
can progress again.”

         “This doesn’t make
a lot of sense.”

         “It will when you
get there, I promise. Good luck.”

And suddenly, the white dissappeared. Abigail was in a room, a meeting room,
much like the United States Senate, in the Capitol. All the politians were
replaced by tigers in suits.

         One tiger stood up.
He had a Generals Uniform on.

         “What are you doing
here?”

          “I
was supposed to give Bryan the truth.”

          “Fool! Bryan doesn’t
want to hear the truth! He’s too busy right now thinking about us tigers!
Truth! Hahahahaha!” The tiger began knashing his teeth at Abigail.

          “Ok. That’s
fine. How do I get back?”

           “Third
door on your left.”

            “Ok.
Thanks”

              Abigail
made her way past several tigers, some in various costumes, all representing
a place in Abigail’s vessels mind. She made her way out and to the third door
on her left. She opened the door and returned to the whiteness.

            The
truth was circling around Abigail. The glow bouncing off different parts of
her body. It finally stopped and stood next to her.

           “What
the hell happened in there?”

            “I’m
scared of tigers.”

            “No
you’re not. They’re really not tigers. They’re just your vessel’s congress
of conscious thought. Go back in there. The fate of the universe depends on
this!”

            “Ok…”

           Anigail
walked slowly back to the door into the Congress of the Conscious Mind. She
put her ear against the door.

          The Constable
of Needless Fixation spoke: “We need to reinforce the wall of fixation
surrounding our potential love interests. The more we needlessly fixate on
this, the more the situation will improve. I still think we have a chance,
Let’s put it to a vote.”

        A heavy roar erupted from
the hall. The vote was overwhelming affirmative. As the final roars died out
Abigail burst through the doors. She opened the box of truth and watched the
rays of truth explode throughout the hall. After 30 seconds of a solid light,
the color reemerged. Everything was like it was, except all the tigers were
laughing. Tremendous roars of laughter filled the hall and whisked Abigail
and her truth out of the hall. As Abigail flew out the door and into an empty
oblivion she heard the collective of tigers saying “The Truth never matters
here! We dictate what’s true and what isn’t! We can imagine whatever we want
to be true! We’re in control of the Universe now!” A wild celebration
grew in the congress hall, which slowly died out as Abigail disappeared into
the darkness of the subconcious.

February 5th 2003

Wednesday always ends up this way

       The
sun behind me, as the dawn of the ending of life nears.
Diplomats bombs will hurry my fears. I gotta fall in love. I gotta make the
world a little more worthless so I won’t care when it’s gone. Oh, I gotta
lotta fear coursing through my bones, a tired fear of dying alone.

if you got any more vague you’d smear into the fabric of the universe.
seriously. clarify.
